Information for Teachers of AP Physics 1 Classes
A legend for the cryptic notes by the video links
For Example: [3] (9:27) A Three Force Example of Newton's 2nd Law with Components
|
- [3] Means a Mathematical Degree of Difficult rating of 3.
- (9:27) Means the video is 9 minutes 27 seconds in length.
- "In-Class Lecture" means the video does not star Billy, Bobby & Bo, instead it is a video of a lecture I did in my "real" class.
- "Solo mr.p" means it also does not star Billy, Bobby & Bo, it's mr.p, by himself, at the whiteboard.
Patreon
Why hello there teachers. Did you know that I went part-time in the classroom so I could dedicate time to making Flipping Physics videos? If you are currently assigning my videos to help your students learn, could you please pledge me on Patreon so I can make up for some of the loss of income? It would be quite nice and logical of you. Mathematical Degree of Difficulty
It makes sense to give my videos a difficultly rating. The level of math necessary to understand the physics is what separates the videos. My Mathematical Degree of Difficulty ratings are from 1 to 5:
- No math. Very few equations. Mostly just concepts.
- Some algebra, however, no rearranging of formulas.
- Includes some rearranging of formulas and/or a trigonometric function or two.
- Lots of rearranging of formulas and/or multiple trigonometric functions.
- A whole bunch of math, however, no calculus.
