Fabulous Flipping Physics Fan Photos

2/26/2016

Now that I have had my first international sale, I think it is time to put out a call for fan pictures for a “Fabulous Flipping Physics Fan Photos” page. So please, if you are the proud owner one of my Flipping Physics T-Shirts, it would be great if you could take a picture of yourself wearing it. If you can make it somewhere interesting, that would be fun too. Oh, and then you need to email it to me, or post it here. Here is physics teacher Mrs.Thomas at Diamond Head Camping Ground in New South Wales, Australia!

Work-Energy Theorem Problem by Billy

I asked Billy to redo his problem one more time. This time using the Work-Energy Theorem. The point here being that there is often more than one correct way to solve a physics problem. Yes, it is almost 13 minutes long, however, I think it’s totally worth it.

Roundabout

Having a wonderful time today testing the physics behind a video two teachers from Istanbul, Turkey have agreed to film with me. The physics problems always seem so blithely simple. "A pendulum hangs at a 12 degree angle with the vertical in a car being driven at 19 km/hr around a roundabout. What is the radius of the circle the car describes?" Really? Have you tried this? I have. 🤔

You know you're a geek when you find yourself excitedly exclaiming to uninterested family members, "Wow! Look at what I can do with my amazing, new tripod!"

Yep, I make physics videos in the hope that you can learn physics.  If you are a physics teacher, I am very hopeful that you will want to use them to help flip your physics class.
